Can a Listening Ear Change the World?

What can i really say to someone who has lost everyone and everything?

What do i say to person who's life has gone at the end of a needle?

What is it that i can offer?

I wish i knew.

All i can do is be a friend, a listening ear.

Listen as if it is Jesus telling me his story.

If my ears are not for listening then why are there.
